Science society was started in 1984. Mr R.M. Premarathne, Mr R. Meetiyagoda, Mr Nadeera Gunarathne, Mr Kolithe Ranjana, Mr D.B. Dissanayake have patroned the association. The objective of this association is to expand science knowledge of students. There are lectures done by University lecturers. The association is filled with Medicine, Philosophy, General Knowledge Competitions, Impromptus speeches and they have also presented a science magazine
